Shai Maivar passed away in 2007, and after 11 years his sister produced an album from songs that he had written and composed. Although the album was created under very sad circumstances, we wanted to create something happy (and weird). I wanted to convey Shai’s character, although he died shortly before I got to know him. I thought to myself how strange it is, designing a project for a customer who’s no longer alive, and what he would have said about it.. (After all, it’s a very easy client). It’s a project I had lots of fun working on, unfortunately.
